So, I've always wanted to make my own refried beans but have honestly been scared to try...putting my fear aside and giving it a go, here goes...

Soak beans overnight |

Place soaked beans in crockpot |

Add garlic, onions, cumin and coriander, set on low for 8-10 hrs |

Remove excess liquid, take our whole onions, and blend until desired consistency. |

I put mine in baggies and into the freezer, they defrost super fast.
This was easier than I thought, if the hubby doesn't care too much, I'll keep doing this just to save money. That's all for now! |
