Hey Guys, So I canned peaches today. Long story short I initially thought I couldn't can the peaches from Schnepf farms because they are semi clingstone. However; I was determined not to give up and I found  this  wonderful blog that explained to me an easy way to get the pit out without demolishing the peaches. Here is my peach canning story, in pictures! Peaches waiting to be canned They smell so yummy! All washed Get that water boiling! Put peaches in boiling water for 40sec-1 min Stop cooking process by removing peaches with slotted spoon and put in ice cold water LOVE blanching. Think it's the coolest kitchen trick I've seen! Gardening: Triumph and Defeats

You probably can't see in this picture but this better boy plant is taking over my raised bed. Once all the tomatoes ripen I'm going to have to give them away we'll have so many! Beautiful cucumber plant that is not pollinating so I don't have any cucumbers. GRR. Triumph: zucchini Another one :) Defeat: Due to some unfortunate watering mistakes, pretty sure my early girls are toast. They all have blossom end rot even after I picked all the bad ones off and star

She is no longer blabbering as much and is making more intentional verbal words. She will now repeat things you say and she is understanding more. Her new words this month are turtle, kitty, banana, please and more to name a few. There are many more but forgive I can't think of them at the moment. She can now climb onto the couch. Which means she is capable of a lot more danger. So far she isn't playing in the toilets and I think that is because I accidentally smashed her finger in the lid one day. Hard lesson and certainly not intentional. She has grown 3 inches in the last 6 weeks and can now reach so much more. I'm having to learn the hard way to get rid of clutter on my desk habit. Because if I don't she will pull all my papers and clutter off onto the floor. I think we have finally had a breakthrough with h
